Information about snow contracts and one shots

"Contracts"

Contracts are available. They begin on December 1st of each year and end on April 1st. We take a limited amount of contracts. Contracts are serviced every time it snows. Our drivers begin plowing when the county goes out. We will keep your driveway clean of snow during the snow season. You do not have to call us. You can count us!

We send out seasonal contracts in September. We do have a limit, as to how many and what areas we will accept contracts in. Call early to have us evaluate your driveway.
There is no charge for an evaluation.

With a “one shot” you can call us when you want us
to plow for you.  When you phone our office, we put you on the plow list schedule.  Service contracts always come first.  Therefore, we cannot guarantee you that we will be in your driveway at the time you request or call upon us.  Please call or simply fill out the Snow Removal request form.

"One shot" prices start at $55.00 for two cars wide,
or two cars deep.  Price will increase based on depth
of snow and /or amount of time required to complete the service, or if more than two cars wide, two cars deep is desired, and feasible. We will never charge to have you on our waiting list if your driveway does not need to be plowed.

Some steps to stay safe:

• We do not take “contracts” or service “one shots” that are on common driveways or shared driveways.  There is too much liability when the driveway is not owned solely by the person hiring us.  There are no exceptions to this rule.
  
  
• You must carry snow chains with you in all vehicles including 4 wheel drive.
  The highway patrol does enforce this law.  Even if at the time they are not required to be on the vehicle you are required to have them available during icy or snow conditions.
  
  
• The speed limit is 25 MPH during snow conditions.  This is strictly enforced as well.
  
  
• You cannot at anytime during snow conditions park a vehicle on the county roadway. All vehicles must be parked in private driveways.   Even if the storm is over, the county does continue to plow the roads and do clean up when the storm is over.
  
  
• We cannot stress enough that your children should not sled out of your driveway onto the county road way.  It is impossible for vehicles to stop on icy roads. 
  
  
• We also, cannot stress enough that your children should not play in the snow banks.  When the county is plowing they push the snow at high speeds into the snow banks and pack them.  The drivers cannot stop and cannot see a child behind the snow bank they are packing the snow into.
