Downhill skiing
Provides a scenic view of the Sierra. Views from the resort drop 3,800 feet into the deep, granite cut of the Mokelumne River. Although Bear Valley is
considered a mid-size ski resort, it ranks as the 8th largest ski area in California. The diverse terrain offers skiing excitement for all abilities. With 67 trails serviced by 11 lifts (2 triple, 7 double and 2 surface) that accommodate 12,000 skiers per hour, you'll spend more time skiing and less time waiting in line. Cross Country Skiing

The cross country trail system at Bear Valley is one of the largest in the United States. Amenities on the trails include Trailside Huts, Trailside Cafe, trails for kids, picnic tables and park benches, 3,000 acres of ski terrain, a groomed downhill practice area, twin tracks and a skate lane on all trails, and a new kid's sledding area.

All rentals are late model Ski-doos. All are equipped with hand and thumb warmers, electric starters, and long travel suspensions. All snowmobiles seat two people (max), and there is no charge for the passenger. Renters are required to provide their own transportation to and from the Lake Alpine and Spicer Trailheads (2-4 miles).
